Daily Star Pays for Libel on Fake Grand Theft Auto Story

British tabloid the Daily Starring agreed to pay Rockstar Games a "material" amount of money for printing fake Grand larceny Auto: Rothbury floor.

Back out in July, the Star posted a level on its website claiming that a Grand Theft Auto was already in the workings supported on the crimes of Raoul Fosse, a gunman who shot his old-fashioned-girlfriend, her lover, and then himself after a repulsion with police near the town of Rothbury, U.K. It ran with an image supposed to personify the underwrite art for the courageous. Unfortunately, it is unknown whether the writer of the offending story, Boche Lawton, is still employed by the paper or whether he volition devote any amount of the damages. Lawton caught the ire of gamers when he posted an update to his Facebook page after the disputation berating "full-grown gamers" "who sit out around all day playacting computer games." Lawton aforementioned, "You would think I'd denied the Holocaust!!!"
